时间如白驹过隙，新学期给我们带来的喜悦犹在心头萦绕，一眨眼，我们本周就要迎来期中考试了。对于八年级学生来说，每个人都像久经沙场的老兵，经历过很多大大小小的考试之后，对如何应对考试，早已了然于胸了。于是，在本周的国旗下讲话中，他们以学长的身份，向低年级的同学们传授了考试的经验。我们一起来看看吧！

Good morning!

我今天演讲的主题是《阳光心态，诚信考试》。伴着清晨的第一缕阳光，我们迎来了新的一天。经过了两个月的紧张的学习生活，我们即将迎来对我们学习成果的一次检阅——期中考试。考试是检验我们学生学习成果的最好方式，是一场让我们敢于正确评价自己，勇于承认自己学习上的失误和不足，严于自我约束的考验。希望同学们满怀信心，以阳光的心态迎接期中考试。

The theme of my speech today is "positive mentality, and integrity". With the first ray of sunshine in the morning, we ushered in a new day, a new week, after two months of intense study life, we are about to usher in a review of our learning results - the midterm exam. Examination is the best way to test our learning results. It is a kind of test that makes us dare to evaluate ourselves correctly, to admit our mistakes and shortcomings in learning and to be strict with self-discipline. I hope that the students will welcome the mid-term exam with confidence.

1. 认真准备，查漏补缺。在考试之前，你还要问问你自己，哪些知识我还没有记住，哪些地方我还没有理解懂，还有哪些答题方法没有掌握，老师讲评的练习还有多少没有消化。这些需要我们去思考、去行动。切不可不以为意，无所作为。

1.prepare carefully and fill in the gaps in learning. Before the exam, you have to ask yourself what I haven't remembered, or understood, what answer methods I haven't mastered. These need us to think and act. We must do something to improve.

2. 诚信考试，公平竞争。诚信是中华民族的传统美德，是我们为人做事的基本准则。“生命不可能从谎言中开出灿烂的花朵”，希望同学们在学习上要有求真的态度，靠自己的努力获得成绩和荣誉，切不可弄虚作假、自欺欺人。

I hope that students in learning to have a true attitude, rely on their own efforts to achieve results and honor, mustn’t deceive others.

3. 关注细节，严谨细致。这是考试时的要求。以往的实践证明，由于我们审题不准确、作答不完整、表述不规范、书写潦草等原因造成失分不在少数，实在令人可惜。追求尽可能高的分数是我们每位同学的梦想，希望我们的同学在考试时养成严谨、认真、细致、规范答题的习惯，做好每一个细节，把无谓的失误降低到最小的程度。切不可粗心大意，马马虎虎。

3.pay attention to details, rigorous and meticulous. This is the requirement of examination. Previous practice has proved that due to inaccurate examination, incomplete answers, non-standard expression, scribbled writing and other reasons for the loss of marks are not in a few, it is a pity.
