Dear teachers and classmates:
Today my topic is about :“developing good habit.” French scholar Francis Bacon once said, "habit is the domination of life, and people should strive for good habits." Behavior is like the compass of our body, guiding each person's deeds. Throughout history, those successful people whose good behavior stem from the long-term insistence, good habit and natural formation in the blood. Our primary and middle school students are in the critical period of habit formation, Thus, cultivating good habits is more important for our students.
First of all, we should develop the good habit of "cherish the time". Mr. Lu xun is a world-renowned literary scholar, producing a prolific literary wors, and his brilliant performance has an important links with his time habits. Some people say that Lu Xun is a "genius", but Lu Xun himself said "there is no genius, I just spend the time of other people drinking coffee on the work". Lu xun once carved an "earliness" on his desk to remind himself of losing no time and do things early. We should learn from Lu xun to develop the good habit of cherishing time. Just as one poem says that “Don’t waste your time when you are old, you will feel sad for nothing.
Secondly , we should get into the habit of keeping the rules. Every student conscientiously complies with the school rules to keep our campus in good order. In the teaching area, we should not be late for class, do not fight during the break time, and maintain the environment of teaching area. In the dining hall, we should line up, eat your meal quietly, and tidy up the table after we finish it. In the dorm, we should be on time for sleep without lateness,
shuttle bedchamber ,or even fight. We will gain more freedom from the "abidance by the rule".
Thirdly, we should develop the habit of "civilization and courtesy". A person's words and deeds speak his personality. Those bad behavior such as littering, swearing, rude behavior, apathy, will ruin our classmates' personal image. Imagine a scene where a person casually discarded the garbage, and it was particularly eye-catching in the flowerbeds. What impression did you leave on this person? What is your impression on a man who always speaks foul language? Will you like a rude man? A person with a warm greeting and a poker-faced person, whose do you prefer? I think the answer is self-evident. Thus, each of us should maintain our personal image and develop the habit of civilized habits.
My dear classmates, yesterday’s habit has mold who we are. Today’s habit determines who we will be tomorrow. Let us start from now, from details, develop the good habits and strive to be the good student.
