Dear teachers and classmates!：
Today my topic is “ Caring other, happy yourself”.
Caring, is people’s love and care for each other. It can be seen everywhere around us. When your
classmate is feeling uncomfortable, pass him a glass of hot water and show your concerns about him;
When your deskmate forgets to bring his pencil, give him yours quietly; The words of concerns and
encouragements from the teachers.... These are all the behaviors of caring others.
Each of us should learn how to care for others, because caring others makes us feel happy. I believe
most of you have heard the story of “The blind man with a lantern”. There was a blind man who always
walking with a lantern on his hand at night. Someone laughed at him and say:“It’s unnecessary for you to
hold a lantern when you are walking at night.” But the blind man answered happily: “ The reason is simple.
I hold the lantern not for myself to see the road, but for others to see me, so that they will not hit me. In
this way, I can protect myself and help others to see the roads clearly.”
If you show your love and care to others, your heart will be filled with happiness. On Thanksgiving
Day, our Grade 1 classmates went to the nursing home to visit the old people; At the beginning of the
semester, our elder brothers and sisters in Junior School took the younger brothers and sisters in low
grades to the canteen; Our elder brothers and sisters in High School walked out the campus and spread
knowledge and happiness to the students in rural school. They gave warmth to the people who need help.
We live at a school that filled with the atmosphere of caring others. We live a life which is fulled of
love. Dear classmates, let’s take actions and be a happy person that cares for others and brings happiness
This is the end of my speech. Thank you !
